Coronation Street's Lucy Fallon drops huge hint at exciting new role after dramatic makeover

Former Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has dropped the biggest hint that she's found an exciting new role after she unveiled her new look.

The actress, who is currently looking for new work following her Corrie exit, has sparked rumours that she's looking to take on a presenting career after hosting an award at the NME Awards.

Lucy, 24, has also had a dramatic makeover, in which she changed her natural hair to luscious, long, ice blonde locks with the help of hair extensions - sparking further rumours of a new role.

She posted to Instagram at the star-studded event after presenting the Best British Band award alongside BBC Radio One's Nick Grimshaw.

Although the star hasn't confirmed she has taken on any new work as of yet, she hinted she would love to do presenting in her caption.

Thrilled to have hosted with Nick, she penned: "Last night I presented the ‘best British band’ award with  @nicholasgrimshaw to  @the1975."

The soap star admitted: "I'm still not over it [heart emoji]".

A representative for Lucy has been contacted by Mirror Online for comment.

In December it was claimed that Lucy had landed her first job after leaving the hit ITV soap, and she'll be taking to the high seas.

She is said to be taking on a role on Cruising With Jane McDonald, in which she'll review a luxury cruise ship with the reality TV star - which could be her first taste of presenting.

It seems the star doesn't want to step away from the limelight for long and is eager to continue with the TV appearances.

It was also claimed that I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! bosses are desperate to sign her for the next series, according to the Daily Star.

It's said that after the success of the latest queen of the jungle, EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa, and fellow Corrie regular Andrew Whyment, producers want to get another bubbly soap star on board.
