Coronation Street actress Lisa George has returned to work after spending months in isolation and shielding during the coronavirus pandemic.
The 48-year-old star, who plays the role of Beth Sutherland in the hit ITV soap, has type 2 diabetes and was left half-blind in her right eye after suffering a mini-stroke.
Sharing a selfie on social media, Lisa looked delighted to be back on the cobbles and looked super glamorous too.
“First day back at work,” she wrote alongside a picture of her backstage on the soap.
“Filming done and now catching up on fan Mail and scripts. Apologies to all those who have sent me letters and not had a response yet...

"I’m working through them... thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to write , it is much appreciated. I shall respond as soon as I can. All the best for now."
Last year, Lisa revealed how she had haemorrhaged behind her optic nerve four years ago and the incident had left lasting damage to her vision.
She says she was also hit in the eye with some rope and that she still does not know what actually led to the damage.

Speaking to The Sun, she said: “I haemorrhaged behind my optic nerve four years ago and I’m half-blind in my right eye, they said it was like a stroke but also I got hit in the eye with a bit of rope.
“They think I’d had some mini-stroke but a specialist said it has to be the rope, I still don’t know."
Lisa had returned to Corrie set to film a few scenes in September and October last year, but now appears to be back for good and will on television screens soon.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
