Kym Marsh has "fallen out" with her co-star Alison King over her Coronation Street departure.
The Corrie favourite, who has played Michelle Connor since 2006, is swapping the cobbles for the theatre.
Speaking on today's This Morning, Kym revealed that pal Alison has been left in tears over her decision to leave the ITV soap after 13 years.
The pair, who are best friends and part of the Connor family on-screen, share a dressing room - but not for much longer.
On Alison's reaction to her exit, Kym said: "She’s kind of fallen out with me about it. She keeps having a little cry. She’s going to miss me and I’m going to miss her incredibly."
Kym still has a few weeks left on Corrie - and confessed she will shed some tears when filming her final scenes.
On how she is feeling, Kym said: "Bit weird. I’m going to be very emotional on my last day, that's for sure."
Michelle is not going to be killed off and the door has been left open for Kym to make a comeback.
The Corrie star did not reveal when her last day is going to be but teased a possible return in the future.
Revealing why she called time on the Street, she said: "There comes a point in time your a part of such a huge show and play that character for so many years.
"I just thought I'd like to try my hand at something else. I’m always one who has loved a challenge."
Kym is going back to her roots and will be back treading the boards when she stars in Elf! the musical.
On her favourite storylines, she said: "I’ve been very lucky to have been trusted with so many amazing storylines. For me it's the baby loss storyline we did.
"I almost had to go back to a time in my life I'd rather not be reminded of. It was such an important story to tell and we helped so many people. I was standing in the House of Commons in front of Jeremy Hunt . It really reached out to people."
