Coronation Street's Kimberly Hart-Simpson lost stone in six weeks

Welsh actress and former Coronation Street star Kimberly Hart-Simpson, who played Nicky Wheatley on the soap, has revealed how she lost a whole stone in just six weeks thanks to a gym programme by Absolute Body Solutions, which has left her feeling mentally better as well as physically.

The 35-year-old, who joined the soap in June 2020 and recently revealed that she'd be joining former Corrie actress Michelle Keegan on the Sky show Brassic during its fifth season, began her weight loss journey in autumn last year according to her social media and says that by following a six-week fat loss programme reached her goal of losing a stone in a "healthy sustainable way".

Taking to Instagram to show off her svelte figure, the actress from Rhyl, who is an advocate of shopping second-hand and posts regularly about it on her social media, posted two pictures, the first of which showcased her toned physique in a cerulean blue bikini. The second showed her progress pictures achieved through working with ABS.

She wrote alongside it: "6 weeks later. A stone down. @absolutebodysolutions have completely changed me. Mentally and physically. We still have a way to go but I am so proud of myself. I have cried so much but my PT has had my back every step of the way. I have found my fit fam. For the first time in my life I am achieving my goals in a healthy, sustainable way and loving it. ABS thank you. PS my face in that second pic is how I look training xoxo"

Fans of the Welsh TV star were quick to comment on her stunning figure with many citing: "Absolutely stunning" and "You look amazing."

Speaking of working with the soap star, Lizzie, her personal trainer said, as reported by Manchester Evening News: “I ran Kimberly through a six-week fat loss programme. I changed her meal plan every two weeks to match the phase of training that we were in. Kimberly was incredible to coach as she gave 110% effort every session and followed the meal plan to the letter. I’d like to congratulate Kimberly again on the amazing results she achieved in just six short weeks!”

Following her incredible results, Kimberly added: “I wanted to challenge myself for a while but put it off. When I finally prioritised myself with ABS I knew I was in safe but demanding hands. There were no excuses and the results were reflective of the graft we collectively put in. Lizzie, my personal trainer, was brilliant. I still use their meal plans as my go to recipes including the home workouts during busy periods.”

Absolute Body Solutions owner Connor O’Brien also commented on her hard work, saying: “It was fantastic to work with Kimberly on her fitness. She did incredibly well with Lizzie in Manchester and gave the programme her all. It is great to hear just how much she achieved both physically and mentally.”
