Ken Barlow is left deeply upset when he is pushed to move to a retirement home after leaving Coronation Street .
The cobbles legend, played by Bill Roache, left his family stunned when he announced that he would be leaving the street and selling up, prompting Tracy and Peter to desperately bid to buy the home.
Eventually, Tracy managed to get the winning bid after Carla duped her into paying more for the property.
But it seems as though he might be having doubts when he and Claudia return from visiting the luxury retirement complex.
While Claudia seems very keen to move in as soon as possible, Ken has his reservations but later confirms that he and claudia are moving into Stillwaters in a few days time.
As Tracy excitedly begins making plans to move in, Peter is left worrying where he and Simon will live.
Later in the week, Ken calls on Stave and Tracy in an attempt to delay the sale of No. 1, but their excitement at moving in prompts him to keep quiet.
At the end of the week, Audrey is left worrying that Ken has been pushed to move in to Stillwater against his will.
Tracy is also concerned after seeing Ken looking so upset as Eccles sits on his lap and he contemplates his time in the house.
Ken is helped with the last of his things by Peter, Carla, Simon and Tracy as they carry his stuff out.
After he picks up Deirdre's peanut bowls, Ken takes one final glance at the living room and leaves.
