Katie McGlynn has completely transformed her appearance with a daring hair transformation.
The former Coronation Street star, 27, decided to dye her blonde locks neon pink after she got bored of her hairstyle in lockdown.
The actress, who played Sinead Tinker on the legendary ITV soap, took to Instagram and TikTok to show off the dramatic results of her makeover on Thursday.
“Pink hair, don’t care. I’ve officially given in,” she wrote alongside a video of herself transforming from a blonde babe to a pink-haired goddess.
It wasn’t long before fans flocked to shower Katie with compliments after her dramatic reveal.
“You look, incredible girl. It suits you soooo much,” gushed one admirer.
“Wow! You look completely different. I love it!” another echoed.
Meanwhile, a third follower wrote: “Ok so you’ve just inspired me to dye my hair pink too. I’m blaming you if it turns out awful lol.”
Katie’s stunning transformation comes after the soap star received a smear test on live television in a bid to dispel any fears and raise awareness of the importance of the procedure.
In an eye-opening segment on Lorraine, Katie said: "Cervical screenings are the best way to protect against cervical cancer.
"But many of us are still too shy, too scared, too embarrassed to go for our appointment.”
She continued: "Ladies, if any of you have had your cervical screening invitation, please make sure you go. It is so important.
"It could save your life. If I can do it, whilst filming it all, then I think you can too."
After her brave decision to receive the smear test live on air, Katie was flooded with praise from viewers across the UK who branded her ‘an inspiration’ for young women.
