Coronation Street's Jude shares throwback photo to first-ever acting job

Coronation Street's Jude Riordan shared a throwback of his first-ever acting job.

The soap opera's youngest breakout star shared the sweet memory of his time before the cobbles on Instagram. Years before he took on the role of Sam Blakeman, the 11-year-old was a cheeky and cheerful character in the CBBC adaptation of Jaqueline Wilson's Katy.

Jude played the role of Little Phil after being spotted by agents for his show-stopping guest work. In the adorable photo shared on Instagram, the youngster showed off one of his headshots from the end of filming.

Jude was inundated with praise as fans took to the comments to congratulate him for his success over the last five years. One user said: "Congratulations to you. Outstanding role model, shining star. Your future is bright Jude Riordan.

Another added: "Can't believe how far you have come keep being a star." A third fan said: "And look how much you have achieved in the past five years! You are a SUPER STAR."
