Coronation Street's Jude Riordan has issued a heartfelt tribute to his former co-star.
The St Helens' actor has wowed audiences with his powerful performances as Sam Blakeman in the long running soap. His mum regularly keeps Jude's 66.5k Instagram followers informed with updates from his exciting life as he forges an impressive career in showbiz.
Jude's star was cemented last year when he was embroiled in a heart-breaking plot in the ITV show's Super Soap Week. Harvey Gaskell accidentally shot Jude's onscreen mum, Natasha Blakeman, in the dramatic storyline.

Natasha died from her gunshot injuries and Jude delivered a powerful monologue, when he addressed his grief after he lost his on-screen mum. Natasha was played by Rachel Leskovac and Jude has taken to Instagram to wish the soap star a happy birthday.
He said: "Happy birthday to my forever Corrie Mummy. I miss mucking about with you on those cobbles."
Rachel gushed with pride over the young actor in her response. She said: "I miss you too, but always proud of you - absolute star. "
