Jude's farewell speech to his mum left fans calling for him to receive award recognition, and he has become a firm favourite with fans of the Weatherfield soap.

With his acting career going from strength to strength, it's almost easy to forget his age, and that Jude still attends school.

A post on his Instagram account, which is run by his parents, shows Jude all dressed up ahead of his school's disco.

Captioning the post, Jude wrote: "School disco ready. DJ Bradders better have those tunneesss!"

Actress Rachel Leskovac, who played Sam's late mum Natasha, commented: "Yesssss Jude - bust some moves tonight!" with a series of dancing emojis.

Fellow Corrie star Sally Carman, who plays Abi, wrote: "Have it large dude!"

Fans of the soap were also quick to comment.

One wrote: "Have a lovely time Jude!"

A second said: "Oh you look so grown up, have a great time little dude."

A third added: "Looking good Jude, enjoy."
