Coronation Street's Jude Riordan thrilled fans as he declared a Britain's Got Talent star as his "best friend".
The 11-year-old has wowed audiences with his powerful performances as Sam Blakeman in the long running soap. His mum regularly keeps Jude's 70.8k Instagram followers informed with updates from his exciting life as he forges an impressive career in showbiz.
Jude hails from St Helens and he attended a star-studded celebrity bowls event over the weekend. Britain's Got Talent star Jamie Leahey was also in attendance and the two talented youngsters finally met for the first time.

Jude shared snaps of the two together and said they were new "best friends." He said: "Today's photo dump ... What a BRILLIANT day! Finally got to meet @jamieleahey01 & Chuck (new Bessies)."
Jude also shared a snap alongside Everton FC legend Peter Reid. He added: "Had so much fun hanging out with my mates and family, celebs and a pic with Peter Reid (he's played against Maradona).
"THEN I did win against Jamie 11-8 (you can take the title next year Jamie) AND took home signed Johnny Vegas bowls as a keepsake. THEN watched Jamie & Chuck at the aftershow party before sneaking off as knackered.
"HELLO to everyone who came to say Hi to me, hope I wasn't a sweaty mess on all the pics. Thanks to the @spf.charity for having me back, think everyone had the best day!" Fans flooded the comments in excitement after the update.
