Coronation Street's Jude Riordan has announced "that's a wrap" for Sam Blakeman.
The St Helens actor has filmed his final scenes of the year and will return to the Cobbles in 2022.
Jude's powerful performances on the show throughout 2021 have been one of the main talking points on the long running soap this year.

Jude's family confirmed on Instagram that the 10-year-old is set to enjoy a well deserved Christmas break and will return to Weatherfield in the New Year.
The post was captioned: "And that's a WRAP on Sam Blakeman for 2021! Thank you everyone for supporting me. I've had the best year of my life. I'll be back on them cobbles in January."
The 10-year-old called 2021 the "best year of his life" as he played a key part in the dramatic Super Soap Week storyline when he became mute following the death of his mum, Natasha.
Jude's portrayal won acclaim from fans and the Corrie star has taken home the Best Newcomer Prize at both the National Television Awards and the Inside Soap Awards.
Fans flooded the comments section to congratulate him on his successful year.
