Jack P Shepherd has sparked rumours he's heading for Strictly Come Dancing after his girlfriend made a public request.
The 32-year-old actor, who plays David Platt in Coronation Street , could follow in the footsteps of former co-star Catherine Tyldesley.
Thoughts that Jack could become the latest soap star to grace the BBC dance competition have increased after his girlfriend Hanni Treweek asked a question on Instagram .
The Weatherfield favourite is looking to join Hanni in dance lessons with his partner asking: "Does anyone know of any good ballroom dancing classes in Manchester that @jackpsheperd88 and I can do x."
Jack has already indicated that he would embrace a turn on the Strictly dance floor, saying that it was higher up his list than ITV's Dancing On Ice.
Speaking to Best magazine last year, Jack show: "I'd do Strictly over any of the others. I couldn't do Dancing On Ice.
"If I did I'm A Celebrity I'd probably upset someone by saying something that's not PC and lose my job."
Jack could have competition from one of his onscreen family members, after former co-star Lucy Fallon also admitted that Strictly was on her career radar.
The actress, who played Bethany Platt on the cobbles, has now left Corrie and looking for her next challenge.
She spoke about her dance desires when she greeted fans on the set of the soap in January as she prepared to leave Coronation Street for the last time.
Speaking to The Sun Online, a source said: “Lucy was greeted by loads of fans as she left the set yesterday.
“It was very emotional, people were crying as they showered her with gifts.
“Everyone was desperate to know what she is doing next and she told them she really wants to do Strictly.”
It may come down to a dance-off between Lucy and Jack to see who gets the green light for some Strictly action.
