Geoff Metcalfe will prepare to take his brutal revenge on Yasmeen Nazir in dark scenes on Coronation Street tonight.
Viewers were relieved on Monday when Yasmeen was found not guilty of the attempted murder of abusive husband Geoff.
Yasmeen had defended herself after suffering under a torrent of abuse from Geoff over several years and, after backed into a corner as he waved a knife, stabbed him with the shards of a wine bottle.
When all hope seemed lost for Yasmeen, Tim found his long-lost mother Elaine, who helped the defence as she took to the stand against Geoff.
As a result, the jury found Yasmeen not guilty, leading to Geoff's furious outburst in court.
Geoff vows to get revenge on the Nazirs, despite abusing his wife, stealing thousands from her and cheating on her with prostitutes.
This evening, Geoff meets with Alya in Speed Daal and the pair begin furiously arguing.
But things turn sinister when Geoff brutally attacks Alya and leaves her for dead.
Not content with simply hurting Alya, he heads off to Yasmeen's home and sets the house ablaze with lighter fluid.
Thankfully, Alya isn't dead and follows him to the house, leading to a rooftop stand-off.
Will Geoff be able to get his revenge on the Nazirs?
