Geoff Metcalfe will ruin his own son Tim's big day with wife-to-be Sally after he was snubbed from the ceremony on Coronation Street.
The abuser, played by Ian Bartholomew, has now been ostracised by everyone on the street - including his own son, who witnessed footage of him harassing wife Yasmeen.
As a result, the pair have kept the wedding a secret from Geoff out of fear that he could do something to wreck it.
But as they are joined by Abi, Faye and Gail in the garden for a low key hen party, Geoff manages to overhear their plans next door.
Unfortunately, Fay lets slip what Tim and Sally are planning to Geoff and later apologises to the couple about letting the cat out of the bag.
Tim and Sally play it down, but he later confronts Geoff and demands that he stay away from the wedding.
Elsewhere, Alya is in despair when Yasmeen tells her that she wants to stay in prison as she feels safe being away from Geoff.
The day of the wedding finally approaches mid-week and Sally excitedly prepares for her wedding and Tim reassures her that Geoff wouldn't dare spoil their big day.
Yet Tim later confesses to Abi that he's worried after Geoff begs him to attend.
As a result, Abi decides to take matters into her own hands as the wedding party head to the car...
Tim and Sally are thrilled as they emerge from the registry office as an official married couple and they head to the bistro for the reception.
Yet a police officer turns up and spoils the fun - what had Geoff been up to?
Later, a furious Tim disowns Geoff and tells him that he's lost the last of his family and only has himself to blame.
