Yasmeen Nazir finally stood up to her evil husband Geoff Metcalfe on tonight's Coronation Street.
After discovering her twisted husband had lied about booking a hotel in Spain and had been paying for escorts, Yasmeen decided to leave to be with her family.
Corrie viewers were ecstatic when Yasmeen stood up to the sick pensioner - but they were suddenly brought crashing down to earth when he stopped her leaving.
Yasmeen rumbled Geoff when she hacked into his email account while he was in the shower and made a horrifying discovery.
She found tonnes of emails to various escorts, including Rachel, but was left shaking when Geoff caught her red-handed.
Geoff accused Yasmeen of spying on him and insisted he doing research for radio show on modern dating.
"I can’t begin to imagine the dirty little fantasies going on in that brain of yours," muttered Geoff.
But Yasmeen stood her ground and forced her nasty husband to confess that he was lying about booking the hotel.
Geoff said he was bragging and wanted to be the big man with grand gesture to prove how much he loves her.
Yasmeen said: "I'm not asking your permission. I'm going to my grandson's wedding and there’s nothing you can do to stop me."
As she closed her suitcase and heads for the door, Geoff blocks her way and menacingly said: "You’re not going anywhere."
Is he going to harm Yasmeen?
Corrie viewers took to Twitter after watching the intense scenes unfold tonight.
One viewer said: "Geoff has lost it now. He can only make things worse from here. Stay strong Yasmeen!"
"Geoff is a desperate man, so I hope he doesn't put hands on poor Yasmeen. What a swine! Has me shouting at the screen," added another
A third said: "Yasmeen standing up to Geoff is single handedly the best thing to come from this pandemic."
"Right Geoff’s a nasty piece of work and all but props to the actor... hes really giving a side arch storyline to the character about him being completely mentally unwell. My god watching him silently despair at the thought of Yasmeen leaving was incredible, "said a fourth.
Yasmeen managed to get Geoff's password after watching him type it in while helping Sally and Tim.
Tim played a nasty prank on Sally and Yasmeen by pretending that he had chopped his thumb off.
Corrie viewers watched in horror as Tim seemingly amputated his own thumb while doing the dishes - and started yelling in agony.
Traumatised Tim yelled out in agony, blaming dad Geoff's knife in the sink, as mortified wife Sally ran over to help.
Terrified Sally yelled at Tim to put pressure on the wound while Yasmeen searched for it in the sink.
Tim said: "I won't be able to live without a thumb. I won't be able to hold anything."
Just as the desperate situation was getting out of control, Tim lifted up his thumb from under the tea towel and confessed: "Oh there it is."
Giggling Tim and Geoff revealed they had played an over the top April Fool's Prank on their wives.
