Gemma Winter and Chesney Brown are left heartbroken after a devastating baby diagnosis.
The worried parents take baby Aled to the hospital for a hearing appointment and receive some heartbreaking news.
They are initially horrified to realise that the appointment clashes with another Freshco photoshoot when Tara calls round to drop off the itinerary.
Gemma and Chesney forget about the shoot and leave the rest of the quadruplets at home as they focus on Aled.
But they are close to tears when the the audiologist confirms Aled has profound permanent hearing loss in both ears
Chesney and Gemma struggle to take in Aled’s diagnosis - but there is more pain still to come.
Gemma is heartbroken to learn that Aled’s been deaf since birth and has never heard her say she loves him.
She gazes down at her little boy as she tries to get more information from the audiologist.
Concerned Chesney desperately tries to comfort Gemma as she blames herself for her son's condition.
However, defiant Chesney swears that he will be by her side as they face Aled’s challenges together.
