Coronation Street fans were shocked when Tyrone Dobbs shared an unexpected kiss with Alina Pop last Friday, and then came clean to his partner Fiz Brown.
During Monday night's episode, Tyrone (Alan Halsall) admitted to kissing Alina after telling poor Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) that he wasn't excited to be lying next to her in bed, prompting her to lash out at him for his "midlife crisis".
However, despite feeling gutted by the revelation, it seems Fiz is going to forgive the father of her children.
In upcoming episodes of the ITV soap,Tyrone and Fiz will plan to meet for lunch, but the atmosphere is as tense as ever.
Tyrone is set to tell Fiz that if they are to have any future together, she has to forgive him for the kiss - but says it is up to her.
Fiz ends up confiding in Maria about the kiss between Tyrone and Alina (Ruxandra Porojnicu) and admits she can’t get it out of her head.
However, she later makes a decision and assures Tyrone that she does want them to work things out but there’s something he needs to do first - and it doesn't look good for Alina.
Tyrone ends up telling Alina that for the sake of his family, she needs to leave Weatherfield and move away. But how will Alina feel about leaving her new life on the cobbles behind?
Corrie fans will no doubt be disappointed in Tyrone, especially as they were left horrified when he cruelly mocked his life with Fiz and their kids recently.
This came just moments after an oblivious Fiz announced that she had booked an idyllic Greek wedding for them both after years of being engaged.
After being humiliated by Tyrone's silent response to her wedding announcement, Fiz ran back to their house and Tyrone went after her to explain himself.
Fiz questioned whether it was "about the sex", adding that they "might not be at it all the time" but that she still "fancies [him] like mad".
As she demanded to know what he was thinking, Tyrone finally said: "I think we're stuck. Just treading water, getting through each and every day. I mean, I get up every morning, I go to work, I come home, I have my tea, I go to bed and then the whole thing is just on repeat again.
"It's like there's nothing - no excitement, no happiness," he added to a sad-looking Fiz.
