Coronation Street's Faye faces court over Adam attack - as Gary learns his fate

Coronation Street's Faye Windass will head to court next week over her attack on Adam Barlow last year.

Faye (Ellie Leach) launched the physical attack on Adam (Sam Robertson) whilst drunk, after mistaking him for Ray Crosby (Mark Frost) - who had recently sexually assaulted her.

ITV spoilers reveal that Faye will face the music next week when she attends court after telling Craig that she won't let him quit his job as a police officer for the sake of their relationship.

Craig will be seen confiding in Kirk about resigning from the police force because he admits his relationship with Faye is more important to him.

Kirk finds Faye in Victoria Garden and tells her about Craig’s decision, but an emotional Faye refuses to let Craig do that and tells him it’s best they finish.

As he and her brother Gary attend court, he is given eight months for perverting the course of justice but told he’s free to go.

Corrie fans will remember that Faye confessed all about the attack to Gary and he offered to take the blame for her, but their story didn't stand up for long.

Gary Windass will also learn his fate after covering up for his sister Faye and lying to the police (ITV)

What will happen to Faye though? And will she end up behind bars?

Things could end up going from bad to worse for her, as later on in the week Craig explains to Kirk that for the sake of his career, he mustn’t have any contact with Faye.

*Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV and is available on catch-up on ITV Hub.
