Coronation Street's Dylan Wilson actor Liam McCheyne reprises role eight years after exit

Coronation Street airs the return of youngster Dylan Wilson next week, new spoilers have confirmed.

Now, it's been revealed the actor playing Sean Tully's son is not a recast, despite it having been eight years since he was last on screen.

He was only a toddler during his last stint, and now Dylan, the son of Violet, is a teenager.

The same actor, Liam McCheyne, is reprising the role as the character appears on the Cobbles for an upcoming plot.

Liam actually shared the role with his twin brother Connor back in 2011 and 2012 on the ITV soap.

Now, Liam is returning to the show, as Sean brings Dylan back to Weatherfield for half-term.

Sean actor Antony Cotton shared the news on Twitter, with a snap of them both back on set.
