Coronation Street's Craig tipped for major health scare after 'death' foreshadowing

Coronation Street viewers have been left gravely concerned for Craig Tinker, amid his new plan to get fit for his job.

The character ended up sharing his new fitness routine with Imran Habeeb, with him deciding to take up running.

But it was Craig's behaviour throughout the hour-long episode of the ITV soap that sparked concern from fans.

Something Imran said only fuelled their fears that something was wrong with Craig.

It all kicked off when police officer Craig tried to stop a thief at the shop, but became out of breath.

He later said that his colleagues had been making comments about his size, and this was the motivation for him to be healthier.

Kirk spilled this confession to Imran, leaving Craig furious - but it only spurred him on to go for a run then and there.

Imran offered some encouragement, but when he left he said he was "going to die".

Later, Craig returned from his run completely red in the face, out of breath yet again.

Fans grew a little concerned when he began clutching his chest, believing he might have an undetected condition, as others wondered if he might have an eating disorder.

Taking to Twitter , viewers shared their predictions that a new storyline could be on the cards.
