Coronation Street's Chesney horrified as blood trail leads to Gemma heartache

Chesney Brown is horrified when he makes a gruesome discovery on next week's Coronation Street .

The kebab shop worker arrives home to find a trail of blood going through the living room and out into the backyard.

Terrified Ches fears the worst has happened to one of his loved ones and goes to ring the police.

He finds Gemma Winter bound and gagged on a chair out the back while seemingly covered in blood.

However, the shocking truth becomes apparent when he asks Gemma what has happened.

Has Gemma been attacked? Or is it a prank gone badly wrong?

Chesney and Gemma's relationship is already strained as he grows tired of clearing up after his girlfriend.

Gemma is oblivious to her slobbish behaviour and keeps getting up to mischief with brother Paul.

He also discovers that Gemma has been helping Brian to scam a local radio station.

The pair have been cheating on a quiz show by pretending that Brian, who is banned from the competition for arguing with the DJ, is giving her all the answers.

Chesney takes the moral high ground and starts shouting at his girlfriend after finding out they beat Marty to the £1,000.

Chesney starts running out of patience when Gemma fails to notice the washing machine flooding the kitchen.

She promises to fix the mess, but things take another twist when Chesney returns home.

He gets a nasty surprise when he hears music blaring and smoke billowing from under the front door.

Ches and Tyrone break down the door and finds Gemma and Paul having a daytime rave.

They have brought a new sound system and smoke machine into the house and invited Rita over for a party.

Chesney cannot believe she has turned his home into a nightclub and tells Tyrone he is uncertain if they have a future.

Is this the breaking point for Chesney and Gemma?
