Coronation Street's Beth and Kirk Sutherland revealed they are going on Love Island tonight in a bizarre twist.
Weatherfield's finest are planning on jetting off to Majorca for the summer of a lifetime.
Beth explained to her factory co-workers that they were planning on using their Underworld bonus to fund a trip to the villa.
She said: "We're going on Love Island with our bonus - aren’t we Kirky?"
Confused Kirk, who was unaware he was leaving the Street, replied: "Are we?
Cynical Sean harshly claimed they were not attractive enough to be on the ITV2 dating show.
He said: "I don’t want to rain on your parade but I doubt you two would make the final cut."
While Sally admitted: "I can't think of anything worse on television."
Beth confirmed that she was not talking about the popular TV show.
"Not the TV show," she explained. "We'll go to Majorca where they film it. Rent out a luxury villa and make our own Love Island - won't we babe?"
The thought of Beth and Kirk making love in the villa made Izzy reach for a sick bag.
Their Love Island dreams were crushed when the workers voted on whether to keep their bonuses or give them up to rebuild the factory.
Beth told Kirk: "You're on my side, remember. We're going to Love Island."
But Kirk said he needed a new packing area and voted against his wife.
It looks like Kirk will be getting dumped at the next recoupling.
Corrie fans want the soap to do a Beth and Kirk Love Island spin-off show.
