Coronation Street star Ben Price has revealed that he was once attacked by a goose in Manchester.
The 48-year-old actor, who plays Nick Tilsley in the popular ITV soap, spoke about the scary incident on the Sofa Cinema Club podcast he does with his Corrie co-stars Colson Smith and Jack P Shepherd.
Nick explained: "There I am running through Trafford and there's a goose with its chicks on the towpath.
"So I turn and I'm right opposite it running and it goes: 'Hiss.' The full hiss. And it's big. One of those big f***ers.
"So it took off at me, pinned me against the wall, full flap. And I'm like, 'Arghh!'"

Ben continued: "I was thinking, 'I'm not going anywhere near your chicks, I'm just running through'.
"I tell you what, I ran. And I was a bit panicked. But of course, there's another 10 so I can't go back.
"So I'm going forward and every time I go past one I'm like talking to them, saying, 'No dramas, nothing here. I'm just going for a run. Please'.

"You don't want to upset them. You don't want to stress them out," he added.
Colson, 22, who plays Craig Tinker in Corrie, then added: "I've had an encounter as well and they are turning more and more aggressive.
"There are about 10 geese along this stretch of the canal. I run to certain heart rates and as I see one my heart rate flies up because of the anxiety that it's going to attack me.
"They are nasty animals. They're awful," he explained.

Things are pretty terrifying for Ben's character Nick in Coronation Street at the moment too.
Following the kidnapping of his son Sam, Ben has been threatened by drug dealer Harvey into coming out of hiding with his partner Leanne and her son Simon.
The pair have also been told that they'll need to withdraw the statement that they gave to the police, otherwise Sam will be taken again.
