Coronation Street's Alan Halsall looks so loved up with new girlfriend Tisha Merry

Coronation Street's Alan Halsall enjoyed a romantic date with his new girlfriend Tisha Merry at the weekend.

The soap actor looked smitten as he took his girlfriend and co-star for some food on Saturday, stepping out hand in hand with massive grins on their faces.

Laughing and chatting, the pair looked comfortable in each other's company as they headed for a bite to eat.

Sporting matching denim jeans, the couple seemed picture perfect as Alan pulled his look together with a navy sweater while Tisha opted for a white T-shirt and a leather jacket.

While Alan and Tish originally kept their relationship under wraps, they're now evidently happy to show off their blossoming romance.

The pair – who have an 11 year age gap – first went public with their romance a month ago after mass speculation.

Using Sam Aston's wedding as an opportunity to confirm they were an item, Alan and Tisha looked the picture of happiness as they posed in the gardens of the Stock Farm estate.

The pair first sparked rumours they were dating back in February when Alan shared a picture of them watching the Salford Red Devils at AJ Bell Stadium.

They also played a few games of badminton together in March and were reportedly spotted on a loved up trip to Anglesey the same month.

Their relationship comes after Alan's split from ex-wife Lucy-Jo Hudson last May after nine years of marriage.

They share four-year-old daughter, Sienna-Rae, who is said to have already met Tisha.

Lucy-Jo, who now stars in Hollyoaks, has since starting dating Lewis Devine.
