Coronation Street's Abi actress wows This Morning viewers with 'stunning' real life look

Coronation Street 's Abi actress Sally Carman looks totally different away from the cobbles.

Looking worlds away from her role as Abi Franklin, Sally appeared on This Morning on Friday, May 27 – and soap fans were totally taken aback by how different she looks in real life.

With her hair looking styled and sleek, large framed glasses on her face, and a stunningly intricate tattoo covering her arm, viewers at home had to take a second glance at the screen.

Sat on the This Morning sofa alongside Michael Le Vell who plays Abi's love interest Kevin Webster, the pair opened up about future Corrie storylines.

Chatting with Alison Hammond and Craig Doyle, the Sally and Michael teased the dramatic week that they're gearing up for on the cobbles – which will air next week.

But it wasn't the upcoming storylines that left viewers at home totally enamoured – instead it was Sally's drastically different look.

The 41-year-old soap star donned a brightly coloured floral dress which had short sleeves and showed off her ink.

Taking to Twitter one fan said: "Sally looks beautiful! Love Abi."

Another wrote: "She is stunning in real life, they make her look so drab as Abbie lol."

A third then added: "I love Sally/Abi's tattoo #ThisMorning."

This comes as Sally's character is approaching a big storyline in the popular ITV soap opera.

Fans watched on recently when a very smitten Kevin left Abi after discovering that she had cheated on himwith a mystery man who later turned out to be Imran Habeeb.

Abi gave birth prematurely to a surprise baby, which turned out to be Imran's and now the two parents have been left embroiled in a very bitter custody battle.

Next week the battle between the feuding parents heats up as Abi plans to move abroad with her son after getting them both passports, illegally.

With the battle intensifing, residents of Coronation Street are left with the consequenceses.

The ITV soap has revealed that the consequences involve a crash, which will air next week.

When chatting on This Morning host Alison asked: "Abi, I feel so sorry for her because her life is just so tragic. It always goes wrong with her. When is she going to get a happy ending?"

Sally then replied: "She needs to get a grip! She does. It’s time, isn’t it? She has to try harder. I think maybe there’s one on the horizon?

"I don’t know, can’t say any more."
