Coronation Street Robert Preston in car crash that finally exposes his double life

Robert Preston has been living a double life on Coronation Street for months now, but it's all set to come crashing down with a shocking car crash.

For months now fans have watched Robert try and keep both Michelle and Vicki happy and unaware of each other.

As his relationships with both women become more and more serious, Robert is becoming more and more stressed.

And in the coming weeks viewers will see Robert have a devastating car crash.

As Robert is on the way back from visiting Vicky, Michelle rings to tell him about a fight she’s had with Ray.

However, the phone call proves a distraction, and he ends up crashing his car as a result.

As Michelle arrives at the hospital, she’s left incredibly confused as Robert begins to ask questions about a baby — then she spots his big Daddy necklace beside the bed.

Matters are further complicated when a midwife recognises Robert as, when Vicky pops by for a check-up, she informs her that Robert’s been in an accident — and thus Vicky rushes to his side.

Later, when he’s discharged, Robert takes it upon himself to go and see Vicky and tell her it’s over.

However, little does he know that Michelle and Carla have followed him to the address.

But is Robert's secret finally going to be exposed?

*Coronation Street continues at 7:30pm on ITV on Wednesday
