Coronation Street residents hit by more tragedy in aftermath of sinkhole death

Coronation Street airs more turmoil next week, as spoilers tease the devastating fallout to the soap's stunt week.

A series of disasters leave lives on the line, with at least one character set to be killed off in upcoming episodes.

From a sinkhole leaving residents trapped underground, to a deadly car crash resulting in a fireball, there's also two explosive showdowns on the cards.

It could be anyone who falls victim to the big episodes, as a number of favourites face serious peril.

Now, spoilers for next week have revealed it doesn't end this week too, as there is more trauma ahead it seems.

Elsewhere, and there is regret and horror for the Platts, as newcomer Leo makes an alarming confession about the sinkhole.

The sinkhole first emerged in the Platt family's garden a year ago, caused by Ray Crosby in a bid to get them to sell their house.
