Coronation Street: Rana Habeeb 'back from the dead' as Carla haunted by discovery

Coronation Street airs a horrifying discovery for Carla Connor next week, as Rana Habeeb appears to come back from the dead.

Rana was killed off in tragic scenes in March, after the factory roof collapsed with her and other residents inside.

She passed away with partner Kate Connor by her side on their wedding day, with Carla now being blamed for the crime.

Carla knew the roof was damaged before it caved in, but she isn’t aware that a mystery new villain actually sabotaged it further ahead of the incident.

Weatherfield residents begin to question Carla over the news she was aware of damage to the factory, with this damage thought to be the cause.

Next week though, Carla is in turmoil when victim Rana appears to make contact from beyond the grave.

It’s Kate and Carla’s brother Aidan’s birthday, and almost a year on from his death the family head to his grave to pay tribute.

But wanting to avoid a grieving Kate, Carla doesn’t show, but later attends with Peter to pay her own respects.

She then reluctantly joins her loved ones in the pub to raise a toast to Aidan, only for Kate to accuse her sister of killing Rana.

Kate storms out back, with Carla suddenly receiving a message online reading: “You destroy everything you touch.”

Shaken, she shows the message to Peter and Michelle, and they’re stunned to see the sender’s name is Rana.

Peter accuses Kate of being behind it, while she and Rana’s brother Imran deny having anything to do with it.

But Carla struggles to cope as another message is sent, and she decides to leave “Rana” a voicemail begging her to call her back.

So who’s behind the mystery messages, and how far will they go?

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
