Coronation Street fans immediately recognised newcomer Curtis.
Tonight, Emma was delighted when a good looking young man offered to help her move some barrels into the Rovers Return cellar.
But Steve was less than pleased to discover Emma on a date with the man, who coincidentally was the person who knocked him off his bike, causing him to come last in the charity fundraiser.

However, as soon as viewers saw Curtis they knew exactly who he was.

Curtis is played by Sam Retford, who did indeed play Cory Wilson on the Channel 4 drama Ackley Bridge.
He's also appeared in Casualty and Death in Paradise.
The 21-year-old was born in Gosford, New South Wales in Australia. His family then relocated to Crewe.
