Coronation Street Kirk actor teases 'new calendar' as he poses in hot tub

It wouldn't be Coronation Street without Kirk Sutherland.

The cobbles icon has been a part of the long-running ITV soap since 2000 - played by actor Andy Whyment.

Kirk's often unintentionally hilarious moments have long been a favourite with fans, with some viewers even demanding he have his own spin-off over the years.

And it seems Andy himself shares Kirk's sense of humour.

Posting on Instagram, the 40-year-old shared a series of comical photos as he teased his "new calendar".

The snaps, which showed Andy and his wife Nicola Willis in a hot tub, included a variety of funny faces and filters.

One image showed Andy sporting a goatee, while completely bald on top.

Another showed him flex his muscles as he and Nicola smiled for the camera.

Captioning the post, the Corrie legend said: "A little sneaky peak in to mine and @nicski31 new Calendar, there available to buy for 2p hope you like the pictures as much as we do" [sic]

Fellow Coronation Street star Sally Carman, who plays Abi Webster, quickly commented: "Put me down for two".

Soap fans also rushed to comment on the funny photos.

amandaeastwood37 said: "The last picture [cry-laughing emojis]", to which Andy replied: "so sexy".
