Coronation Street in major schedule shake-up from next week for a month - how and when to watch

Avid Coronation Street viewers may find themselves out of sorts next week as the soap jumps around the TV schedule.

For the next month, fans of the ITV staple will be without their regular fix on the channel.

This is due to the Euros taking place until July 11 with various matches airing across ITV and BBC.

But Corrie fans need not worry too much - as there will be opportunities to watch the soap some evenings... as well as at their leisure.

Throughout The UEFA European Football Championship for four weeks, all episodes for each coming week will be made available on the ITV Hub every Monday.

This will allow viewers the chance to binge watch their favourite soap or choose to watch whenever they like.

But some episodes will still air on ITV.

This includes two hour long episodes on Monday (June 14) and Thursday (June 16) both at 9pm, and a rare hour-long episode will air at 8pm on Sunday, June 20.

Here is a full look at the upcoming Corrie schedule:

Monday, June 14 at 9pm

Thursday, June 17 at 9pm

Sunday, June 20 at 8pm

Monday, June 21 at 9pm

Wednesday, June 23 at 9pm

Friday, June 25 at 7.30pm

Coronation Street has revealed its summer plotlines as its players line up for some dramatic showdowns as we head towards the UEFA Euros (Coronation Street/ITV)

Coronation Street producer Iain MacLeod has said about the changes: "There are loads of key rivalries across the Cobbles this summer and I think it will be like following your favourite team - there will be times where they let you down, make mistakes and maybe score a few own goals.

"But you’ll back them till the end and woe betide anyone else who criticises them.

"Given how exciting the stories are, it’s great that fans will have the chance to binge watch all the episodes on ITV Hub at the start of each week - as with football, sometimes when it’s an exciting face-off, you really want extra time."
