As Derek enters the pub, he threatens those inside before Gary appears in the firing line.
Pictures set up the moment that Derek threatens him, as those including Tracy Barlow and Johnny Connor watch on in horror.
But one snap shows a mystery character lying on the floor beside Gary, appearing to be injured.
The picture seems to show the moment Derek's gun goes off, injuring a mystery resident with Gary then trying to reason with Derek.
In the snap, the mystery person is only shown from the stomach down, lying on their side.
A new trailer might now confirm the identity of said person though, while it also suggests he will not be a shooting victim.
Instead the person is brutally attacked by Derek, who slams the end of his shotgun over the character's head.
Ali Neeson looks likely to be the person whose face isn't shown in the trailer, but he certainly looks a lot like him.
Will he survive? Viewers will have to wait and see.
