Last week Gary Windass was forced to start working as a loan shark, conning old women out of cash.
But things take an even darker turn when evil boss Rick Neelan makes him turn his hand to debt collecting - with his first target to be Vicky Jeffries.
The builder is mortified when his partner Sharon orders him to go through Vicky's belongings and seize anything of value.
And his discomfort soon turns to horror when Sharon suddenly starts knocking the mother of Amy Barlow's baby daddy, Tyler, around in front of him.

Sickened by the scenes at Vicky's, Gary pleads with Rick to grant him his freedom, but with £11,000 still owing he's warned he's in no position to quit.
Making matters worse, Gary doesn't realise he's been followed by girlfriend Sarah Platt, who grows suspicious after daughter Bethany spots him driving his van in a shirt and tie.
She then hears from Nick that police suspect the collapsed factory roof may have been sabotaged and that officers want to speak to Gary, who had been working on it.

And when he doesn't return home, she fears something terrible has befallen him.
Meanwhile, Gary is stunned to find Rick waiting at the builder's yard for him, where he forces him to sign over his van, tools and fixtures and fittings at the yard to cover his debt.
Realising he's in too deep, Gary immediately goes to see Cathy at Roy's Rolls and warns her that Alex has got involved with a loan shark and needs to pay the money back ASAP.
