Seb Franklin's dad will appear on Coronation Street next week, as he makes his screen debut.
It is the first time Tez will be seen by viewers after only seeing the Seb as a kid, with his mum, Abi Franklin.
Viewers may recognise Tez when he appears on the Cobbles after Abi's disappearance from Weatherfield following the verdict at Seb's murder trial.

The heartbroken mum watched Corey Brent walked free from court, despite Nina Lucas naming him as the one who repeatedly kicked Seb in a horrific hate crime attack, Manchester Evening News reports.
Actress Sally Carman said the conclusion of the murder trial was just the start of the drama as Abi seeks revenge for her son's death.
She then confirmed she'll use Seb's father, Tez, to help her in her quest for justice.
And soap-lovers are very likely to have seen his face somewhere before.
Ex- EastEnders actor Stephen Lord has been cast in the role of Seb's father.
The 49-year-old played Jase Dyer in the BBC One soap from 2007 to 2008, the father of Jay Brown.
He was also in a relationship with Dawn Miller, played by Kara Tointon.
But he met a grim end after being murdered by his antagonistic gang leader, Terry Bates

In a panicked search for Abi, Kevin visits the Dog & Gun with a photo of her, asking the regulars if she’s been in.
It is there that he discovers Seb’s dad Tez is in the bar and he breaks the news of Seb’s murder and explains his fears that Abi has turned back to drugs in her grief.
Tez assures him that he hasn't seen or heard from Abi but unable to shake his doubts, Kevin later gets in his car and tracks down Tez and spots him doing a drug deal.
As Tez samples the goods from his drugs deal, Kevin edges nearer and snaps a photo on his phone.
He then stands up to Tez, convinced he lied yesterday and has really seen Abi before ordering Tez to tell him all he knows or he will send the incriminating photo to his probation officer.
Tez pretends to Kevin that he caught sight of Abi weeks ago but didn’t speak to her.
Kevin then leaves Abi a heartfelt voicemail, explaining how much he loves and misses her.
