Filming on Coronation Street has been rescheduled after an actor tested positive for Covid-19 last week.
Soap bosses have been forced to make adjustments to the shooting schedule, causing havoc for cast and crew.
This will come as a huge blow to production after Corrie recently cranked the number of episodes from three to six this week.
The ITV soap was previously running on a reduced schedule after filming was suspended from March to June due to the pandemic.
An ITV spokesperson told the Guardian : "We can confirm a member of the Coronation Street team has tested positive for coronavirus.
"The protocols we have in place for such an eventuality have been implemented and the individual is now self-isolating at home."
ITV have also said that it does not believe that anyone has been within two metres of the individual. However, the production team who have worked with them have been notified.
The broadcaster added that it has undertaken a clean of the area where the actor was working.
They said: "We believe the situation has been contained and filming continued on Monday.”
Corrie implemented a number of safety measures when it resumed filming in March in order to remain on air throughout the pandemic.
This included implementing two-meter sticks to ensure cast and crew were a safe distance from one another and one-way systems in the studio in Manchester.
