Coronation Street's well loved character Leanne Battersby might well have come to the end of the cobbled road - after actress Jane Danson teased that her character will die at the end of the week.
ITV actress Jane put out a message on Twitter after a storyline which sees drug dealer Harvey looking for revenge. on the soap.
On Monday nights explosive double bill, Harvey was involved in a car crash whilst being transported from prison.
However he appeared unscathed from the crash - and was seen making his way to seek out his revenge on Leanne.
Coronation Street's Twitter page shared a gif of Harvey escaping the van writing: "Here’s Harvey."
And Jane shared the clip adding: "Well it’s been an incredible 24 years."
Fans couldn't believe that Jane appeared to spill the beans with one follower Script to Scene writing: "Hey! At least put a “spoiler alert” if you gonna tweet spoilers"
Another reassured: "Leanne's not leaving. If Jane dropped such a spoiler before the airing she would be in a whole crap load more trouble than leanne."
And someone else suggested: "I think someone is going to kill Harvey before he has the chance to kill Leanne."
