Coronation Street viewers have predicted in their numbers that Johnny Connor is a killer, in what could be a major twist on the ITV soap.
Viewers finally learned what he was hiding about his past on Monday night, and why he was avoiding newcomer Scott.
The pair share a dark past, with it now confirmed almost 40 years ago they committed a crime leading to a shocking decision.
Scott went down in prison for the crime, while Johnny didn't come forward to help him.
Instead he did a runner and moved on with his life, never making contact with his fellow criminal again.
That was until Scott arrived earlier this year, causing Johnny to do a runner yet again this time to France.
But as the two men came face-to-face this week, they finally opened up on the crime they committed together.
Few details were revealed about the specifics and what went down, only that Johnny escaped justice while Scott served a prison sentence.
Scott didn't grass up his so-called pal, and claimed that all these years later he had forgiven him.
Viewers didn't believe this though and think he may be planning revenge, especially after predicting what it was they did all those years ago.
After Johnny made a comment about something that happened during the incident, it was heavily hinted that a security guard was harmed or killed.
As many guessed Scott or both of them killed the mystery victim, others quickly wondered if Johnny was the killer and Scott maybe took the blame.
While it isn't clear what went on with details still to be exposed, viewers raced to Twitter believing they had rumbled what it was they were hiding.

This was echoed by another fan who said: "Sounds like Johnny coshed a security guard."
