Coronation Street fans 'work out' how Ryan will uncover truth about Crystal

Coronation Street fans think they've worked out how Ryan Connor will uncover the truth that the messages he has received from his "girlfriend" Crystal are actually being sent by Daisy Midgeley.

Since Ryan was horrifically injured in an acid attack meant for Daisy, the Weatherfield barmaid has felt responsible and has done her best to keep his spirits up.

Ryan remains in hospital some weeks after the attack. Prior to Daisy's terrifying wedding day, Ryan was due to set off for a new life in Ibiza with a woman called Crystal he had just started seeing.

When Crystal found out what had happened she told Daisy she was going to Ibiza without Ryan. But a guilty-feeling Daisy has been texting Ryan, pretending to be Crystal, as she feels bad for him.

Daisy's fiancé Daniel has urged her to come clean, and she was about to during Monday's episode before Ryan told her he didn't need her pity because he "has people who care, like Crystal", and Daisy stormed out of the hospital.

Fans watching at home think they have worked out how the lies will be revealed. Taking to Twitter, Gav said: "Crystal is due a reappearance to put Ryan straight about those texts", while Cath said: "Crystal is gonna fly in to the cobbles for a little visit isn't she?"

David said: "Real Crystal needs to pop into Dev's while Ryan's gazing out the window". Aimee said: "Is he gonna text Crystal and Daisy's phone will go off?" and Jacob said: "It's only a matter of time before Ryan texts 'Crystal' when he's with Daisy!"

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and ITVX
