Coronation Street fans were left frustrated this evening after Sally and Tim Metcalfe's wedding scenes were scrapped.
The happy couple were seen heading to the ceremony tonight as they feared that Geoff could do something to ruin it.
Thankfully, Abi Franklin had a plan up her sleeve and lured Tim's nasty dad back to the house and locked him in the conservatory.
Geoff ended up missing the wedding - but so did viewers, who were upset not to see their favourites tie the knot officially.
One tweeted: "Aw, why didn’t we get to see the wedding?"
While another commented: "It's shame they didn't show the wedding! Hope they adhered to Covid restrictions?? #Corrie."
A third wrote: "I think this is the 1st time there's been a soap wedding which wasn't on screen! I would have liked to see it Neutral face I'm surprised Sally hasn't asked where Abbie was! #Corrie."

But others were just happy that Geoff didn't mess up the wedding and that it all went ahead as planned.
