Coronation Street fans think they know who spiked Amy Barlow

As Weatherfield residents celebrated Valentine's Day in different ways, Amy Barlow and friends had a few drinks before heading to the school dance.

After being surprised by new boyfriend Jacob with a bouquet of roses, he talked her into going clubbing with him after the dance, even saying he could get fake IDs for Asha and Summer, who are not yet 18.

Amy has kept her relationship with Jacob - who terrorised her cousin Simon - from her mum and dad.

But things took a turn for the worse at the nightclub, as Amy collapsed after being spiked.

Spoilers given earlier this week show Steve and Tracy hit the roof when they find out - and are convinced it is Jacob, after discovering they were together.

However, some viewers think they spotted how it happens, and it's nothing to do with Jacob at all.

As Daniel Osbourne entered the dance, and told Amy and her friends off for being drunk, Max could be seen in the background as he was filming the event.

Taking to Twitter, some viewers were convinced he was to blame.

Ryan Glendenning said: "Max spiked Daniel's drink and Amy drank the wrong one"

IntenseMisery said: "Max has spiked Daniel's drink, in which Amy has now necked. #Corrie", to which Carole Ann replied: "I think that too"
