Coronation Street fans stunned over steep price of Daniel's chat with prostitute

Coronation Street viewers were left speechless tonight over the "extortionate" price of Daniel Osborne's chat with a prostitute.

Daniel, played by Rob Mallard, drowned his sorrows during Monday night's episode after discovering the true identity of a woman he had been trying to chat up.

He had met Nicky at a drinks soirée after being invited by Adam.

However, when they turned up at a hotel room he discovered that Nicky was actually an escort.

But Daniel ended up drinking away his woes and turned up at Nicky's hotel room on Monday.

Rather than enjoying a night of passion, Daniel ended up speaking to her about his loneliness following his wife Sinead's death.
