Coronation Street fans spot blunder as Nick is exposed - but is it a secret twist?

Coronation Street fans have slammed Nick Tilsley's massive blunder after his secret was exposed.

The Underworld boss was seemingly rumbled when Toyah Battersby found the missing health and safety report from the factory roof collapse.

Toyah was stripping Nick and Leanne's bed to get in their good books after being told she and Imran had to move out.

Just as Imran left the flat, Toyah felt something under the mattress while taking the sheet off the bed.

Horrified Toyah lifted up a black file and realised it was the crucial evidence that could send down the roof collapse villain.

Toyah immediately pointed the finger at Nick, who previously admitted his financial worries would be solved if the factory was destroyed.

Corrie viewers slammed Nick for stupidly leaving the documents in an awful hiding place under the mattress.

But others pointed out that it might have been a set up - and Nick is actually innocent.

Coronation Street fans took to Twitter to question Nick's hiding place.

One viewer said: "Would Nick really be stupid enough to hide the stolen report under the mattress?? Especially where Leanne could easily find it - it wasn't even hidden under there that well."

"Yes. Because master criminals always stuff the gear they've nicked under the mattress ffs," added another.

A third said: "Most would keep porn under the mattress not binded documents. Also why would it not be under the bed or locked away"

Toyah had a blazing row with sister Leanne, who asked why she was searching under his bed.

Leanne then turned the tables and claimed Imran could have planted it.

She pleaded with her sister not to go to the police until Nick had a chance to defend himself.

Is Nick really guilty?
