Coronation Street fans spot blunder as David crashes car

Corrie fans spotted a huge error in tonight's show, as David crashed his car into a skip.

David has been burning the candle at both ends, running around looking after the children and trying to see Shauna in Leeds and tonight it clearly took its toll.

On the way to Lily's play David fell asleep at the wheel and smashed into a skip.

But despite the significant impact the air bags failed to inflate and several eagle eyed fans took to social media to point it out.

Paul said: "So david #corrie crashes into a skip and the air bags never went off."

Kevin told David his car was a write-off (ITV)

Pete Leo said: "No airbag in that car."

And @jfield03 said: "S**t airbags."

Luckily no one was injured in the crash, but things went from bad to worse for David as Kevin told him his car was a write off.

David said: "But I was only going 20mph."

But Kevin said: "Sometimes that's all it takes mate."

Nick then told him it could take a month for the insurance to pay out , with David telling the rest of his family they'd have to all pull together.
