Coronation Street viewers spotted a major blunder in Wednesday's show.
Newcomer Mike recently held Summer hostage after discovering she planned to reveal he has a secret child unbeknownst to his wife, Esther. The teenager originally agreed to be a surrogate mother for the couple but failed to tell them she had a miscarriage several months ago and instead, continued on with the charade.
Once Mike discovered Summer no longer wished to work with them and that she knew about his son, he held her captive in his bedroom without insulin, eventually causing the diabetic teenager to pass out. Esther returned home to find Summer unconscious and immediately called an ambulance.

She later woke up in the hospital with family by her side but after she was left alone momentarily, Mike appeared to confront her. His presence left Summer visibly shaking but viewers question how Billy failed to see him standing behind the curtain after his exit.
One viewer said: "How did Mike do that sneaky thing, must have been hiding for ages." Another added: "So Billy didn't see Mike hiding behind the curtain round the hospital bed? Should have gone to Specsavers!"
A third said: "Are you trying to tell me that Billy wouldn’t have seen Mike behind the curtains when he walked out of the door?" A final added: "As if Billy didn’t see Mike when leaving. Do they think we’re thick?"
Mike told Summer not to share what happened with the police if she valued her safety. The teenager hit back, revealing she would do everything in her power to put him down but soon realised she was pinned as the antagonist after Mike claimed she was trying to steal money from his house.
