Coronation Street fans 'screaming at TV' as Daisy tries on wedding dress

Coronation Street viewers said they were "screaming at the TV" on Wednesday evening as Daisy went to a wedding fayre.

She had been planning on taking Jenny and her mum, Christina, with her, but after they had yet another row she stormed out of the Rovers. Daisy declared she would be going alone after becoming tired of their arguing.

As she got there, she snapped a selfie on her phone, before bumping into Gemma and Chesney who are also engaged to be married.

Later scenes saw Daisy trying on a wedding dress, but as she couldn't decide whether she liked it or not she said she wished she had someone there for a second opinion. Thankfully, the saleswoman told her her fiancé had just arrived.

Daisy's eyes lit up as she thought Daniel had turned up, so she called over the changing room: "Just give me a minute to get this dress off".

Viewers soon learned it wasn't Daniel at all, as the voice of Daisy's stalker Justin said: "Now there's an offer". Justin then told Daisy he "knew" she had posted her selfie on social media to "tell him where she was".

He believed she had set the whole thing up so Daisy and him could be alone for a bit, away from Daniel. As Daisy told him to leave, Justin said: "True love is worth dying for, Daisy. Remember that", and tears fell down Daisy's face.

As soap fans watched the scenes unfold, many were left furious. Taking to Twitter, Michelle said: "Why hasn't Daisy called the police yet? What's she waiting for? Ridiculous!" Jess said: "Anyone else screaming at the TV for Daisy to ring 999?"

Shaheen said: "Daisy should have gone to the cops yonks ago", while Ryan said: "Daisy needs to call the police now before things get out of hand".

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and ITVX
