Coronation Street fans were delighted as they recognised newcomer Stefan Brent from Emmerdale.
Last week, Stefan's son Corey and Asha moved into Nick Tilsley and Leanne Battersby's old flat after Corey's parents took over its lease.
But Dev, knowing how important it is for Asha to concentrate on her studies, met up with Corey's dad Stefan to try and resolve their living arrangements.

However, it soon became clear that Stefan couldn't care less what his son gets up to.
Losing his temper over Stefan's nonchalant attitude, Dev said that if Asha failed her exams or Asha became pregnant, he'd hold him accountable for his lack of parental responsibility.
However, fans were distracted as they recognised Stefan f rom Emmerdale.
Jamie tweeted: "Great to see Paul Opacic in @itvcorrie, though ever since Claire King returned to @emmerdale I hoped he’d be back on there."
Shaun said: "Lovely to see Paul Opacic tonight."
Traylor wrote: "It's Steve Marchant from #Emmerdale!"
Pete added: "Oh it’s Steve Marchant from @emmerdale from 24 years ago in @itvcorrie talking to Dev."
And Penn wrote: "I'm sure that guy was in Emmerdale years ago."
Stefan, played by Paul Opacic, is most notable for his role as Steve Marchant on Emmerdale from 1993 to 1999.
Soap fans will also recognise him as Carl Costello in Hollyoaks from 2010 to 2018.
