Coronation Street fans finally realised where they recognised undertaker George Shuttleworth from following tonight's show.
Undertaker George made his first appearance in September 2020 when he did some business with Mary Taylor at Preston’s Petals.
Since his arrival he has become friendly with Eileen Grimshaw and Mary. But a few weeks ago George discovered he was distantly related to Gail Platt.
And now he's set to help with the funeral of her father Ted later this week.
Tonight saw the funeral professional turn up to Weatherfield with a hearse for Tim and Steve to practise driving it for their new business venture.
George appeared highly professional and was quick to pass on his knowledge to the two men, despite Steve driving the car "like Lewis Hamilton".
Fans also spotted sparks flying between him and Eileen as he imparted his knowledge.
But viewers were shocked when they finally realised that George, played by Tony Maudsley, was also the same person who played Kenneth Du Beke in Benidorm from 2011 until 2018.
Katy Iwasyk said: "Omg only just realised George is Kenneth from Benidorm! My mind is blown!"
