Coronation Street fans question 'new Todd' after spotting missing facial scar

Coronation Street fans spotted a major error with 'new Todd', noticing he is missing a prominent facial scar.

Todd, played by Gareth Pierce, returned to the Cobbles last week and no sooner dragged his mother, Eileen, into trouble with a drug dealer he owes money too.

However, fans noticed this new Todd, who was previously portrayed by Bruno Langley, was missing one of his features.

In 2014, Todd found himself cornered in a dark street by a gang. Although he handed over his phone, he refused to give them his wallet.

He suffered a serious assault and was admitted to hospital. He was informed he would have a permanent scar under his eye for the rest of his life.

However, Coronation Street fans noticed 'new Todd' does not have this scar.

One said: "New Todd’s scar has healed up nicely."

Lozza wrote: "What happened to Todd’s scar?"

Dan said: "Did Todd get his scar surgically removed?"

And a fourth commented: "There’s something different about Todd’s face. Can’t quite put my finger on it. What is it? Oh yes, his scar is missing!"

Tonight, viewers saw Mick and one of his sidekicks turn up at the furniture store and beat Gary, believing him to be in cahoots with Todd.
