Coronation Street fans have predicted that Nick Tilsley will be arrested after estranged wife Leanne borrowed his car for a drugs drop.
Having been pushed into working for evil drug baron Harvey ( Will Mellor ) to aid her son Simon Barlow, Leanne ( Jane Danson ) has become involved in drug dealing.
In Monday night's double bill, Leanne borrowed Nick's (Ben Price) car for a drop off and collected the money for Harvey, but was stopped in her tracks by a police officer.
Thankfully, the officer did not grow suspicious of her and she got away.
Sadly, Leanne was left upset to see Nick spend time with ex Natasha as they co-parent their son Sammy.
Naturally, Coronation Street viewers have taken to social media with their thoughts and are predicting that Nick will suffer the consequences of Leanne getting involved in crime.
One Corrie fan tweeted: "If Leanne ever gets arrested on a drug run, the car is going to get traced back to Nick, so chances are he'll be arrested for drug running as well because it's his car. #Corrie #CoronationStreet @itvcorrie ".
A different viewer penned: "Leanne set for her first drug drop. She could be throwing herself and Nick into the lion's den here #Corrie ".
Meanwhile, another Coronation Street devotee predicted: " #corrie wind your neck in Leanne, you’re pushing Nick away, so obvious Nick is going to have a fling with Natasha."
Elsewhere, another soap follower noted: "One minute Leanne’s biting Nick’s head off the next she’s asking to borrow his car".
Finally, one Twitter user concluded: "Aren’t most drug drops carried out by teenagers on electric scooters nowadays? Leanne’s going to stand out like a sore thumb with Nick’s motor. All being well it’ll be impounded & crushed. #Corrie ".
Thankfully, for now, both Nick and Leanne have gotten away without trouble.
But, will Leanne be able to get her tormentor off her back? And has she lost Nick to a new family unit with Natasha?
