Coronation Street fans have come up with a new theory that could rock the Street.
Evelyn Plummer recently reunited with a former flame, as Arthur Medwin arrived on the Cobbles.
After bumping into him, the pair enjoyed a number of dates much to the amusement of her grandson Tyrone Dobbs.
He and his partner Fiz were of course happy to see her with someone, despite her claims they were not an item.
While she clearly enjoyed the company, Evelyn continues to claim she and Arthur are just friends.
Viewers are now hoping the old flames will reunite properly, and be a couple on the Cobbles.
But viewers are questioning if something may be about to be revealed.
If they're right, it's a major twist that some are actually welcoming.
Knowing Arthur is part of Evelyn's past, fans are questioning if there could be more to it.
She and Tyrone only came into contact in 2018, when Tyrone learned his parents were not his biological mother and father.
While attempting to locate his real family, he found Evelyn who didn't initially believe they were related.
After becoming close, she moved in with Tyrone - and now fans think there could be a further twist to the tale.
Taking to Twitter after Arthur spent more time with the family, and knowing about his romance with Evelyn, some fans are speculating whether Arthur may also be related to Tyrone.
With few details known about Evelyn's past, could they be on to something?
One fan commented: "I wonder if there is any truth in the rumour that Arthur is Tyrone’s granddad?"
